DMCA Notices & Counter-Notices | LiduAI

DMCA Notices & Counter-Notices for the LiduAI generative media platform operated by LIDU AI LABS.

Last updated: 2026-10-27

Local-review draft · Not yet effective. Operator: LIDU AI LABS. Complete the contact and jurisdiction details below and verify operational practices before public launch.

1. Scope and status

The DMCA is a U.S. copyright law, not a universal procedure for every right or country. This page describes the intended U.S. copyright notice process; it does not assert that LIDU AI LABS meets every safe-harbor condition or has registered an agent. A verified agent name, mailing address, telephone, email and registration have not yet been supplied. During local review this page is not an active formal DMCA intake channel. Applicability, public contact information and any required registration must be completed before launch. Formal notices must be accessible to people without an account.

2. Takedown notice information

A copyright owner or authorized representative should provide:

  1. A physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work; a representative list may cover multiple works at one site.
  3. Identification of the disputed material and information sufficient to locate it, such as a specific URL or task ID, not just a homepage or general allegation.
  4. Reasonably sufficient contact information, including address, telephone and email.
  5. A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or law.
  6. An accuracy statement and a statement under penalty of perjury that the sender is authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right.

Consider licenses, fair use and other legal exceptions before sending. Do not include passwords, API keys or unnecessary identity documents.

3. Handling notices

On a compliant, locatable notice, the platform will assess and act expeditiously under applicable law, including removal or access restriction and reasonable notice to the uploader where applicable. Missing information may be requested. Necessary notice and contact details may be shared with affected users to investigate and enable their response, or disclosed as law requires; see the Privacy Policy. Do not use complaints to suppress lawful expression.

4. Counter-notices

If removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, an affected user may submit, once the formal channel is active:

  1. A physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of removed or disabled material and its prior location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury of a good-faith belief that removal or restriction resulted from mistake or misidentification.
  4. Name, address and telephone; consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the district of that address, or, for an address outside the U.S., any judicial district where the service provider may be found; and acceptance of service of process from the original notifier or its agent.

A counter-notice may disclose your identity and contact details to the claimant and has legal consequences. Do not submit false information.

5. Forwarding and restoration

A valid counter-notice will be forwarded to the original notifier with the relevant restoration notice. Where 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) applies, restoration generally occurs no fewer than 10 and no more than 14 business days after receipt, unless the designated agent first receives notice that the claimant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the related infringement. Independent unlawful, safety or policy grounds may still justify restriction, without circumventing the applicable statutory process.

6. Repeat infringement and agent details

The platform intends to reasonably implement a repeat-infringer policy and accommodate applicable standard technical measures. Knowing material misrepresentation about infringement or mistaken removal can result in liability. Public agent details and registration must be supplied and kept current before formal activation; ordinary tickets are not represented as a registered-agent channel. Other copyright concerns follow the Copyright Policy.
